Falmouth is located in Southeastern Massachusetts on Cape Cod in Barnstable County with a year-round population of 31,524 people, according to the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau. The seasonal population can grow to more than 105,000 people.

Falmouth covers 54.4 square miles and ranks as the second largest town on Cape Cod and the 17th largest town in Massachusetts. It is rich in history and was the home town of Katherine Lee Bates. Bordered by ocean bays on its west- and south-facing coasts, there are 10.3 square miles of harbors, saltwater inlets and freshwater ponds. Falmouth is 22 miles from the Bourne Bridge. Major cities including Boston and Providence are less than 75 miles away. Average commute time is 23.7 minutes.
