New Executive Director In The Future For Falmouth EDIC
The Falmouth Economic Development and Industrial Corporation discussed adding a paid, part-time executive director to represent the board of directors and better serve constituents at its meeting on Tuesday, January 8. The formal hiring process will not begin until the board completes and approves a job description for the position.
“It’s long been a need to have someone who is really available and has some expertise in development for nonprofits,” said vice chairman Susan L. Moran.
Hiring an executive director will help the board manage existing projects and take on new ones, Ms. Moran said. The new position will work closely with Lynne A. Broderick, the board’s administrator. Members of EDIC agreed that an ideal candidate will have experience writing grant applications for nonprofit organizations. To read more of this article click here.
