EDIC Looks to Generate Revenue
The Falmouth EDIC discussed a variety of upcoming projects and plans at its meeting on Tuesday, March 20, including Falmouth Station, OpenCape network connectivity and the tech park development agreement.
The board invited the public to this meeting to obtain input from commuters, entrepreneurs, visitors and residents on travel-complimentary uses of the Falmouth Station and surrounding area. The EDIC’s goal is to make the station financially self-sustaining.
EDIC Administrator Lynne A. Broderick updated the board on the status of the property, which included finding termites on the station’s new windows, an improperly regulated heating system that may require a new boiler and various high-risk trees on the property that are a cause for concern with recent storms.
