Corporation Discusses Lyberty Green, OpenCape
The Falmouth Economic Development and Industrial Corporation offered its services in assisting the town with negotiating the purchase of the Lyberty Green property.
At November Town Meeting, members voted to appropriate $100,000 from certified free cash to have the town manager and board of selectmen enter into negotiations to obtain the land located at 0 and 3 Lantern Lane and 0 and 556 Main Street. This property, owned by the Fays Realty Trust, is the site of the Lyberty Green Apartments 40B project. “My feeling is this particular developer is going to want a quick resolution to this situation, and if there is anything we can do as a board to help that come about, I think it will be a big plus for the community and also the economic development of Main Street,” EDIC chairman Michael P. Galasso said. To read more of this article click here.
