Comcast Business offers internet download speeds up to 150Mbps and upload speeds up to 20Mbps. Comcast’s voice services offer unlimited local and nationwide long distance calling as well as 24×7 Business Support.


Wireless Telecommunications Services

AT&T and Verizon both provide comprehensive local wireless voice and data services. Customers with Sprint, T-Mobile or other cellphone service providers will generally find good coverage throughout Falmouth. That said, all carriers continue to make network upgrades on an ongoing basis.


Electricity and Natural Gas Services

Eversource is New England's largest energy delivery company, with more than 3.6 million electric and natural gas customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

National Grid is the supplier of natural gas service to Falmouth.


Transportation

Local employees and business visitors have a number of choices for easy transit in and around and from Falmouth via transit bus systems, ferries, taxi service, seasonal trolly's and air service.

Road Ways
State Route 28 directly connects Falmouth to the Bourne Bridge and 8 of the 15 towns on Cape Cod and provides reliable transport to core business areas. From Route 28, travelers can connect to Route 6 and Interstate 195 to access South Coast communities in Massachusetts and Rhode island, Route 3  to access the South Shore communities and Boston, or Interstate Highway 495 to access Metro-west and Western regions of Massachusetts.

Air Service
Barnstable Municipal Airport is located in Hyannis, about 35 minutes east of Falmouth and offers commercial and private aircraft. Cape Air provides access to more than 43 cities throughout the U.S. In the summer season, Jet Blue provides jet service between many U.S. cities. Multiple ground transportation and car rental companies offer travelers easy transport to their ultimate destinations.

Ferries
The Steamship Authority is the largest ferry service to the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket from Cape Cod. They offer the lowest fares and the most frequent daily departures for passengers, automobiles, groups and trucks. Martha’s Vineyard ferries depart from Woods Hole and Nantucket ferries depart from Hyannis. Our seasonal high-speed passenger ferry, the M/V Iyanough, gets you to Nantucket, dock-to-dock, in just an hour.

The Island Queen operates daily from May to October and provides passenger service to Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard.

The Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry is a 72 foot luxury fast ferry – the only ferry that sails daily from Falmouth into Edgartown Harbor on Martha's Vineyard from late May to early September.

Buses & Transits
Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is Cape Cod's public transportation system with bus and trolley service to all towns from Woods Hole to Provincetown and to 15 Boston area Hospitals.

MassRIDES is a free program of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) designed to help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality and mobility. To accomplish these goals, MassRIDES works with both employers and commuters within the Commonwealth to promote the use of commute options. Through hands-on worksite assistance, ride matching services, marketing and outreach events, MassRIDES annually offers thousands of commuters and employers time – and money – saving solutions for a better commute in Massachusetts.

Peter Pan Bus run from Woods Hole and the Falmouth stations to Boston, Providence and New York with many convenient stops along the route.

Car Rental
Enterprise Rent-a-Car has an office in Falmouth. Enterprise has a massive network and is the largest transportation solutions provider offering car, truck and motorcycle rentals, as well as car sharing and car sales.

Hertz Car Rental has an office in Falmouth and offers pick-up/return service as well as Gold Counter Service.

Bike Paths & Route
Shining Sea Bikeway has over 10 miles of paved path built on a former rail trail. North Falmouth and Woods Hole are the anchor villages with numerous parking areas as it traverses through West Falmouth, Sippewissett, Falmouth and Quissett.


Accommodations & Conference Centers

Sea Crest Beach Hotel has 263 guest rooms and suites and a spacious three-bedroom cottage, all designed in classic Cape Cod style. Holiday Inn Express is a contemporary hotel within a 9-minute drive from the Martha's Vineyard Ferry and a 16-minutes walk from downtown Falmouth. There's free WiFi and kids 19 and under stay free with an adult. Amenities include an on-site steak and seafood restaurant (where kids 12 and under eat free) and an indoor saltwater pool, plus a fitness center, a video game arcade and free parking.

Admiralty Inn & Suites located in town on Route 28, this modest roadside inn is 5 miles from the Shining Sea Bikeway and 10 miles from South Cape Beach State Park. The low-key rooms feature free Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus microwaves, mini-fridges and coffeemakers. Some upgraded rooms and split-level suites add private decks, as well as separate living areas with whirlpool tubs and/or pull-out sofas. Free perks include continental breakfast and parking.
