Falmouth Station Housing Project Update
The Falmouth EDIC is developing a housing project on a 2.5 acre site adjacent to the bus station on Depot Avenue in Falmouth. Backed by state grants, the project aims to build residential units to support local workers, with plans involving multiple apartment buildings to address the town’s housing needs.

Station Restoration
Request for Information (RFI)
The Falmouth Economic & Development Industrial Corporation (Falmouth EDIC) has plans for attainable workforce housing on land it controls at the Falmouth Station. The Falmouth EDIC is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to qualified organizations who may be interested in a role as development partner with the Falmouth EDIC on this exciting project. Over the past two years, the Falmouth EDIC has advanced its vision for the project with support from the Town of Falmouth and a Community Planning Grant from the EOHLC. While this planning work resulted in a vision which the Falmouth EDIC believes is well aligned with the community, we are also interested in hearing from experienced private and not-for-profit developers on what they may envision for such a program.
The RFI is the next step in the Falmouth EDIC process. We hope that your organization will find it of interest. Responses are requested by Tuesday, September 15, 2026. We are available to answer any questions that arise from the RFI or tour the site should that be a desired step.
