Part-Time Executive Director Opportunity

The Falmouth EDIC (Economic Development Industrial Corp.) has a career opportunity for a Part-Time Executive Director. This position will have strategic and operational responsibility for the organization’s mission; including developing projects, programs, business plans and staff. The ED must foster good relationships throughout the community and form strong collaborations and communication between all business partners and the Board of Directors, to achieve common goals.

Day to day activities will include but are not limited to managing current programs and monitoring progress with rigorous evaluation to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency. Designing business plans for new programs/projects in support of the EDIC goals and managing the execution process thru successful completion. Creating and implementing processes, tools and reports to track and communicate the various programs and projects operational and financial performance.

Qualifications required include a Bachelor's Degree, ideally an MBA in public or business administration or a similar discipline, ten years in progressively higher levels of responsibility culminating in a senior management level position with experience in managing teams, programs and projects. Strong marketing, public relations experience and solid communication and interpersonal skills are critical competencies needed in this role.

Experience working within a Non-Profit organization is a plus, as is proficiency with grant researching and application processes, knowledge about affordable housing and mix-ed use/co-working space structures.
