FALMOUTH EDIC EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING:  May 8, 2018

10:09 am* MOTION: Land made a motion to move into Executive Session in respect to Accutek’s request to permit the release of one article in their lease agreement. Roll Call: Christopher Simmler Aye, Christopher Land Aye, Jim Fox Aye, Michael Galasso Aye.

10:12 TECH PARK - Accutek Property Sale, Parcel 5044, Langdon G. Burwell Dr.

  • Simmler advised that Accutek made an offer to the EDIC to allow his property to be sold in the public market, waiving our lease agreement and give up first right of refusal to buy back the property - for $7,500.

  • Galasso advised that the EDIC has the right to buy it back at the original purchase price of $160K, because they have not developed it.

  • Fox advised the property was worth approximately $200K – for 4 acres.

  • Galasso advised the property was purchased in 2000 and only some grading was done.

  • Fox and Galasso do not think the EDIC should waive the lease agreement at this time.

  • Accutek does not have an Offer to Purchase from a buyer. It will be reviewed and discussed again when/if a formal offer is realized.

A Motion was made by Galasso to adjourn the Executive session. Simmler 2nd. Roll Call: Christopher Simmler Aye, Christopher Land Aye, Jim Fox Aye, Michael Galasso Aye. All in favor. Motion passed.
