Food Truck Opportunity
The EDIC is interviewing for Food Trucks and Ice Cream Trucks to provide services to patrons during the busy summer months at the Falmouth Bus Station in Downtown Falmouth.
Great Opportunity Awaits:
Parking outside the Falmouth Bus Station can be a strategic location choice for a food truck seeking to maximize its customer base and revenue opportunities, and leading to a much greater community engagement opportunity.
High Foot Traffic with folks coming to Falmouth throughout the day and specially on the weekends, providing a steady stream of traffic. Many people may enjoy the convenience of grabbing a bite to eat while waiting for the bus to arrive.
The Bus Station operates for extended hours providing a Food Truck with opportunities to serve customers throughout the day and into the evening week day and weekends.
The Falmouth Shining Sea Bike Path runs behind the Station and the parking lot to access the Bike Path is across the street from the Bus Station. The Bus Station is the only access for public bathrooms, and food and beverages in that area.
Visibility and Exposure to a large number of potential customers base who may not have encountered the food truck otherwise.
Providing a quick Food option for downtown customers and employees.
The EDIC will welcome the opportunity to add you to our list of vendors for any future events at the Station.
Social Media Reviews: Being located outside a Bus Station, and along the Shining Sea Bike Path can generate social media buzz and positive reviews from satisfied customers. This will further boost your reputation and attract a new customer base.
Setting up outside the Bus Station could be a cost-effective location for a Food Truck compared to setting up in a fixed location with a higher rent base.
The EDIC is offering free advertising on their Website and the TV Monitors in the Bus Station. This can drive traffic to your food truck at other times of the week.
For further information please contact the EDIC.
Advertise at the Falmouth Station!
The Falmouth Station has a wonderful advertising opportunity for local businesses who want to advertise job opportunities or their business services and events. Tens of thousands of bus riders, Shining Sea Bikeway users, commuters, visitors, Station Grill café patrons and local residents make use of the Falmouth Station facility each year. During the busy spring, summer and fall seasons at least several hundred people will view your ad each day!
Two TV monitors display all day - with bus schedules, weather reports, fun facts and local events to keep people informed and entertained. You can promote your business here for optimal exposure and your ad costs will go toward supporting the ongoing maintenance of this historic building.
We will rotate your ad in 5 SECOND SEGMENTS approximately every 5 MINUTES, EVERY DAY. The cost is affordable - much less than placing an ad in a newspaper and it will be viewed by many more people.
Contact the Falmouth EDIC to inquire about this great opportunity to promote your business or organization.
